Epiphyllum soil mix: (1) one part commercial cactus mix, (2) one part azalia/camelia soil mix, (3) small amount of horticultural charcoal, (4) 1/8 part medium perlite, (5) small amount of bone meal.

Epiphyllum fertilizer: any solid or liquid low-formula/low nitrogen (>=10) fertilizer; 1/2 strength applied once in late spring, and again in late summer.

Epiphyllum pesticide: Snail Bait as needed; Systemic (any "houseplant" type) applied to the soil only.
